The Grain Free Pantry is a home based baking business run by Mary Ryan of Cappawhite, who has a wide and varied customer base throughout Ireland for her unique sugar, dairy, gluten and grain free baked products. Mary approached STDC in 2012 with her business idea, and was approved for grant aid of € 21,667.19 towards a state of the art kitchen and e-commerce website in June 2013. Her products, which include breads, cookies, cupcakes, pancakes and waffles use nut flours, seeds, honey, coconut oil and lots of other wonderful additive free ingredients to create premium gluten free baked goods. While her products are aimed primarily at customers suffering from digestive disorders and those with specific dietary requirements, her delicious range of healthy goods can be enjoyed by anybody, and the business is growing steadily through her online bakery store www.thegrainfreepantry.ie. All products are baked to order and immediately shipped fresh to the customers’ door.
