Cappawhite Community Resource Centre

For the past two years the Cappawhite Community Resource Centre has received the ongoing support from the Tús work placement programme providing the opportunity for a number of workers to gain experience in a key quality work placement. The Programme has been hugely beneficial in supporting the volunteer community services that are so vital to the Community.

The participants are given the opportunity to work with both older and younger people, developing skills in reception, to helping with the management of classes with a trained instructor in the community gym, to working with a skilled caterer in our catering kitchen. The Tús participants and key volunteers ensures that the centre can continue to deliver vital rural services and amenities.
